Granite Sand, made by washing crushed rock fines (dust) to remove the minus 75 micron fraction. Perfect for all-weather conditions, it ensures the structural integrity and longevity of your paved surfaces, preventing traffic deformation with its exceptional workability. Here are some key characteristics and uses of washed granite sand:

• Cleanliness: As mentioned, the washing process removes fine particles and contaminants, making washed granite sand relatively free of impurities. This cleanliness is important for ensuring the quality and performance of construction materials.
• Concrete Mix: Washed granite sand can be used as an ingredient in concrete mixtures. Its clean and uniform particle size distribution helps improve the workability and strength of concrete.
• Masonry Work: It is often used for mortar in masonry projects such as bricklaying and stonework.
• Paving: Washed granite sand is suitable for creating a stable base for pavers and interlocking stones in patios, walkways, and driveways.
• Landscaping: It can be used in landscaping projects, including as a component in soil mixes for gardens and plant beds.

Min. Order

The minimum order requirement is 26 bulk bags, and it can be combined with various types of bulk aggregate bags.

Delivery

All bagged material, with each bulk bag weighing approximately 900 kg, is delivered on a 44-tonne vehicle equipped with a curtain-sided trailer. Please note that our delivery service requires you to have a forklift for offloading the driver will assist with the offload process.

All orders placed before 12am are eligible for next day delivery from 07:00 to 16:00. Please allow an extra day for delivery if your order was placed after 12am.  Please bear in mind, operations on weekends are on request, so all orders are processed between Monday and Friday.
