Whin Dust for Laying Slabs

Overview

Whin Dust is a finely crushed rock aggregate, commonly used for paths and driveways due to its compacting capabilities. When compacted, Whin Dust creates a firm, stable surface that’s also permeable, allowing water to drain through, which prevents pooling and ensures a durable finish. It’s an excellent choice for creating a smooth, fine-textured surface that can also be used in conjunction with other aggregates to fill gaps in paved areas. Whin Dust’s versatility also extends to gardening and landscaping, where it can be used as a top dressing for planted areas, enhancing moisture retention and weed suppression. Its angular nature makes it an ideal base for laying slabs or artificial grass, decorative finish to garden beds, borders, and even as a part of the mixture for concrete.

Min. Order

The minimum order requirement is 26 bulk bags, and it can be combined with various types of bulk aggregate bags.

Delivery

All bagged material, with each bulk bag weighing approximately 900 kg, is delivered on a 44-tonne vehicle equipped with a curtain-sided trailer. Please note that our delivery service requires you to have a forklift for offloading the driver will assist with the offload process.

All orders placed before 12am are eligible for next day delivery from 07:00 to 16:00. Please allow an extra day for delivery if your order was placed after 12am. Please bear in mind, operations on weekends are on request, so all orders are processed between Monday and Friday.
