Washed Concrete Sand is meticulously processed to remove impurities, ensuring it meets the highest quality standards for concrete production. Its superior strength minimizes the weak points in concrete, making it an essential ingredient for your construction projects that demand longevity and resilience. Here are some key characteristics and uses of washed concrete sand:

• Clean and Uniform: Washed concrete sand is typically clean, free of organic matter, silt, clay, and other contaminants. It is uniform in particle size and has a consistent texture.
• Gradation: This type of sand is often well-graded, meaning it contains a range of particle sizes from fine to coarse. This gradation is important for achieving the desired strength and workability of concrete mixes.
• Mixing with Cement: Washed concrete sand is used as a key ingredient in the production of concrete. When mixed with cement, water, and aggregates (such as crushed stone or gravel), it forms a concrete mix that can be poured into moulds or used for various construction applications.
• Strength and Durability: The quality of the sand used in concrete can significantly impact the strength and durability of the resulting concrete. Clean and well-graded sand helps create a more consistent and robust concrete mix.

Min. Order

The minimum order requirement is 26 bulk bags, and it can be combined with various types of bulk aggregate bags.

Delivery

All bagged material, with each bulk bag weighing approximately 900 kg, is delivered on a 44-tonne vehicle equipped with a curtain-sided trailer. Please note that our delivery service requires you to have a forklift for offloading the driver will assist with the offload process.

All orders placed before 12am are eligible for next day delivery from 07:00 to 16:00. Please allow an extra day for delivery if your order was placed after 12am.  Please bear in mind, operations on weekends are on request, so all orders are processed between Monday and Friday.
